Respite Care
Respite Care at Reformed Church Home
Respite is a short-term stay in a fully furnished Assisted Living apartment or in a fully furnished private or semi-private Skilled Nursing room. Residents enjoy all of the services and amenities included in permanent residency, while the family has peace of mind. Placement is based on room availability.
Some residents return home after respite care ends, while others choose to apply for permanent, long-term Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing care.
Respite stays are ideal solutions when:
- The caregiver is planning a vacation and wants to ensure a safe and caring environment for a loved one while away
- The senior is being discharged from a rehab center or nursing facility and needs short-term assistance with daily activities before returning home
- He or she wants to “try out” our community before making a final decision to stay
long term
There is a minimum 2-week stay for Assisted Living respite care at our Old Bridge, NJ, community. Please call for information on rates and availability.
