A Letter from Tom & Jo Ann Delaney
We would like to take a moment to thank you and your whole staff for the care Mom received on both the AL and Skilled Nursing sides. Mom was truly happy to live in the Reformed Church Home. We can’t count the number of family functions she attended and when the time to leave arrived, she let us know she was going home, because she looked upon the Reformed Church Home as not just a place to go to, but truly ”her home.”
Thanks to the AL nursing staff: Sue, Denise, Fran, Aimee and especially Veronica, who Mom called daughter, for their outstanding care and patience. We want to extend a special thanks to Dr. Mezic for his expertise, understanding and compassion.
Mom enjoyed most activities and a special thanks to Alberta (Blondie) and her entire staff. Mom especially enjoyed the outings. She also loved Sam’s services and looked forward to them each week.
When Mom got sicker and had to move to the Skilled Nursing side, we were lucky to meet Mrs. A, Wilson and Ana. Once again a whole new group of caring people were there for her. A special thanks to Vona, her day aide.
Mom never wanted for anything. The staff in dietary, social services, housekeeping, maintenance and the PNA people all took time to be patient and cheerful.
Debbie and Sonja, the receptionists, were always ready to listen to Mom. They were her friends, her connection to the outside world and would steer her in the right direction if she thought she had a problem.
We thank you all and will miss seeing you and God bless all of you and the work you are doing.
